🏔️ We're Climbing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks for Gaza 🇵🇸 Saturday 31st May
Rubin and I are taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge to raise funds for the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (Colleagues of the British Red Cross) an organisation on the frontline of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The ongoing conflict and situation in Gaza is catastrophic. Famine is looming, clean water is scarce, and the healthcare system has all but collapsed. Most people have fled their homes, but there is nowhere safe left to go. We are witnessing relentless, unacceptable human suffering.
Aid alone won't solve this crisis, but it will save lives. People urgently need clean water, food, and medical care. Red Cross and Red Crescent teams have already helped over half the population, working tirelessly to alleviate suffering wherever they can.
Palestinian Red Crescent Society is working around the clock to:
Provide emergency care in hospitals and field units
Reach isolated communities with mobile medical teams
Deliver food, shelter, and hygiene essentials to displaced families
Offer trauma support and mental health care to those affected
Train first responders and educate communities in disaster preparedness
💔 Why PRCS?
Choosing just one charity is tough, there is so much need in the world. But after following PRCS’s efforts amidst this violence and inhumanity, we felt the pull to try and help. Their work is saving lives, every day.
Not Exactly Peak Fitness...
Now, climbing the 3 Peaks might sound doable, but trust us, we’re not exactly in peak condition! It's 24 miles and 5,200ft of ascent, daunting to say the least. I did it nearly 10 years ago and it was hard then... this time will be no different (if not harder).
But this challenge isn’t about us. Your donation shouldn’t be based on how difficult this is so please consider giving because the need is urgent and the cause is vital.
👉 Donate if you can. Share if you can't. Every action helps.
Thank you so much for your support.
With love (and very tired legs)
Hannah + Rubin 🇵🇸 ❤️
