Louie was diagnosed with cancer in May 2024. Since then our lives have been turned upside down. He has endured countless hours of chemotherapy, operations, MRIs, CT scans and hundreds of blood tests. This is without counting all the hospital admissions in between treatment cycles when his body was so weak he needed medical intervention. Not only Louie suffered through it all, Oscar his big brother spent days and weeks apart from his mum and dad, never knowing what was going on or when he would see his family next. He suffered terrible emotionally.

Luckily gold geese were there to support our family every step of the way. Whether it was food packages, parties for the boys, amazing holidays or just a simple text to speak with someone who just gets it.

I wouldn’t have made it through without Gold Geese support they have been a lifeline to me.

Oscar and Louie alongside their cousins will be running a mile across Southend seafront to raise money and awareness for Gold Geese.
