Story
I am honored to be taking part in the Rare but Real walk on 22 August 2026, a personal journey to shine a light on sarcoma and its profound impact. Sarcoma may be rare, but for the 5,300 people (like my sister) diagnosed each year in the UK, its effects are deeply felt. Through this walk, I hope to raise awareness, advocate for earlier diagnosis, and push for fair access to care for all affected. I want to celebrate how far my brave sister has come, and help her to raise funds for a charity that means so much to her.
Sarcoma UK’s Rare but Real campaign is vital because awareness and treatment options still lag far behind what is needed. This is why I am committed to this cause — to help bring about meaningful change that can save lives and improve outcomes. Your support means the world to me and those living with sarcoma.
Please join me in making a difference by donating today. Together, we can ensure that sarcoma is no longer overlooked and that everyone receives the care they deserve. My fundraising target is £500 — every contribution brings us closer to hope and progress.
