Story
On the 8th of August, this year, I will be doing a skydive at Swansea Airport to raise money for Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice. A place that means more to me than words can ever fully explain.
On the 20th of August 2025, we said goodbye to my beautiful daughter, Harper. Ty Hafan gave us care, compassion and support during the most difficult time of our lives, and I will forever be grateful for the love they showed us and continue to show us.
Harper was born with complex conditions, including CHD and CDH. From the very beginning, she faced challenges that no baby should have to endure, yet she showed nothing but strength, resilience and courage every single day. She truly defied the odds and inspired everyone who met her.
Anyone who knows me will know this is completely out of my comfort zone. I am not an adrenaline junkie! I hate heights, I hate rollercoasters… so jumping out of a plane is something I never thought I’d do.
But Harper is my reason.
The strength she showed throughout her journey makes me feel like I can do anything in life. If she could be that brave, then I can do this.
I’m taking this leap for her, and for all the families who rely on Ty Hafan. Any donation, big or small, would mean the world 🤍
