Story
After welcoming our beautiful daughter in April we were heartbroken to find she had an abdominal mass at 6 weeks old which turned out to be a rare neuroblastoma cancer, stage 4.
The care at GOSH has been incredible and whilst Ada has completed her first treatment block with good results, she still has a long and scary road ahead over the next 18 months. We feel so grateful for the knowledge and care from the team that are treating Ada and feel so lucky to live in a country where we can access the healthcare service in the way we are.
During our stay here we have met so many families and listened to their stories. Every story is heart breaking, no child or family should have to go through this. The money we are raising will go toward the new cancer centre, further developing research into treatments and providing additional beds to allow more children to be here and leave after ringing the bell. We hope and pray that one day that will be Ada along with all the brave families we have met along our journey.
