Story

Join us on Saturday 18th October 2025 as our incredible youth members of Hayle Surf Life Saving Club take on a unique challenge — paddling two Inshore Rescue Boats (IRBs) without engines from The Sloop Inn, St Ives (departing 12:30pm) to Gilbert’s, Hayle.

This event is part of our “Fuel the Future” campaign, raising vital funds for a new Inshore Rescue Boat to support our rapidly growing youth membership. With over 200 children and adults training year-round to become Cornwall’s next generation of lifeguards, this new IRB will help us continue providing safe, high-quality lifesaving training and flood rescue support for our community.

Come down to cheer them on along the coast or welcome them home in Hayle!

💙 Every donation helps us keep our beaches safe, our young people inspired, and our community rescue-ready.

Support our lifesavers today — together we can Fuel the Future.
