The Wales Air Ambulance Charity provides advanced life-saving emergency care for everyone in Wales, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are a ‘mobile emergency department’ that relies entirely on donations to keep our helicopters in the air and rapid response vehicles on the road.

I’m Hayley, I’m 52 and up until August 2024 I had never stepped foot in cold water, avoiding it at all costs, why would you even do that? Fast forward a few months and here I am embarking on this challenge.

Alongside a few of my friends from the Chilly dippers we are embracing the cold and dipping in water in lakes, rivers, waterfalls and cold water pods in our gardens.

We dipped every day in December raising over £1000 for this wonderful charity and we have kind of just carried on. So if we can do 36 days, we can do 365 right? 🤷🏻‍♀️🥳🎉
