Story

Hi there.

As you all know Reflex usually does something mad for Hassocks Goes Gold, last year it was a 24 hour hairathon, this year BLH has decided to run a marathon in memory of Pearl.

I had the honour of knowing Pearl & being her hairdresser, which is why I always want to raise as much as I can for this charity as I means so much to this community, to her family & to the salon.

There are many reasons why running a marathon is hard for me.

1. Motivation - I lack it, I lack the time & I would rather stop and take a selfie with the downs then actually run.

2. I have rheumatoid arthritis - it affects my knees and ankles so running doesn’t come easy to me

3. I’m a mum & I own a business - I barely have time to poop, let alone run a 20 mile training run.

But I’m gunna do it. Because it’s not that hard in the grand scheme of what this charity is for.

So please - if you can, dig deep and donate. Because then I’ll actually have to do it unlike the last 6 times I signed up. But seriously. This charity is amazing & deserves your donations.

It’ll be an honour running for Pearl 💙💛

I'm supporting #PearlPower at CCLG because I want to help spare other families the tragedy that Pearl's live with every day.
