People with EB have extremely fragile skin that blisters and tears from friction or trauma.

Epidermolysis bullosa (EB) is a group of rare genetic skin disorders that make skin fragile and prone to painful blistering from minor friction or trauma. It's hereditary, meaning the genes that cause it can be present in other family members. Symptoms usually appear at birth or in infancy and can range from mild to fatal. The severity varies between types, from occasional blistering on the hands and feet to severe blistering over the entire body.
