Story
Our friend and colleague Aidan, at 57 succumbed to this horrible disease and died not long after his diagnosis.
Aidan loved cycling and often supported charity events with Geek on Peaks. To honour his memory on July 14th a few of us are cycling from his home city of Sheffield to Birmingham returning the day after completing a round trip of 170 Miles 🥵 raising funds for the charity that help support people with this type of cancer, raising awareness where we are able.
A bit about the charity; We are Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Right now, half of people with pancreatic cancer die within three months of diagnosis. Families are left with only hope to hold onto. They need more and Pancreatic Cancer UK are trying to do more. With breakthrough research, more change through campaigning, and more support with expert nurses, Pancreatic Cancer UK are raising awareness and the profile of this silient and deadly disease, relentless because the disease is ruthless.
