Twenty four years ago Sophie and I visited Nepal and found a country that was incredibly generous, joyful, and kind. Strangers along the trail to Annapurna welcomed us into their home for tea, conversation, and even a place to stay.

Millions of people have been hosted by this incredible country and enjoyed the landscapes that are now being destroyed by climate change and the people that are suffering from its impact.

As a small part, the Didcot Hebdens are doing a sponsored virtual hike up Everest. Between us we'll reach 8,807 meters before the end of September - at least that's the plan.
