Team 'Aisle to Isle'

We thought this was quite a fitting name for this event; our first year of marriage, our first anniversary as we (hopefully) complete the rally, and an epic adventure around the North of the beautiful British Isles.

Both of us are partial to a challenge or two and have done a fair bit of fundraising between us over the years. Our last challenge was climbing Kilimanjaro back in 2022 raising money for the Sheffield Children's Hospital so we have been looking at what could be next.

As James is in to his cars for a living and this years challenge being such a breathtaking route around England and Scotland, we jumped at the chance to get back into the saddle, or in this instance, the driving seat.

James’s business CVS has purchased our car and secured our team entry. We are then covering all of the fuel, accommodation, fancy dress and expenses for the trip, ensuring that every penny donated will go to charity.

Some superb charities again will benefit from this adventure especially Ashgate Hospice on our doorstep, serving Chesterfield and North Derbyshire. What better way to mark our first anniversary by doing something to help others with this remarkably fun and quirky challenge.

Not only will we road test our chosen wheels but it will be road test of each other and the strength of our marriage!
