In memory of Glynn Mason

24 hour 10 mins Zumba attempt for the Guinness World Records · 24 October 2026

The MPS Society provides specialist support to children, adults and families in the UK who are affected by MPS, Fabry and related lysosomal storage diseases and we fund research into treatment and therapies. These diseases are rare, genetic, life-limiting conditions with no cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm Helen, a daughter, the youngest of five siblings, an auntie, a wife, a mom of two & a friend.

One of my eldest brothers Glynn was diagnosed with Fabys a rare genetic disease in his late 20s. Speaking with Glynns wife Melissa, he really suffered having to have infusion drips every 2 weeks, and was looking at needing a kidney transplant. Sadly Glynn passed away in March 2024 aged only 44years old. I'm fundraising for MPS SOCIETY in memory of my big big brother. Attempting a 24hour & 10mins Zumba session for the Guinness World Records. Those who know me know if I say I'm going to do something I will no matter how long it takes me. Thank you in advance for your kind donations. I will keep you up to date. Xx
