Story

On the 27th July, Anna & I will be jumping from 10,000 feet for Sandy Bear Children's Bereavement Charity!

Sandy Bear Children’s Bereavement Charity’s purpose is to relieve the mental, emotional, spiritual and physical distress of children and young people suffering, or anticipating, a bereavement.

HOLLY

I have decided to jump for this charity as it is very important to our local community. Becoming a mum I realised how important it is to me that charities like this exist. I want to raise as much money for this charity so they can continue to provide support to children who have lost someone close to them.

ANNA

I am raising money for the Sandy Bears Children Bereavement Charity which is very close to my heart.

When we lost my Auntie Judy, my mums only sibling we were completely devastated as a family and I was referred to Sandy Bears. This amazing charity helped me understand grief and how to process the loss.

They helped us as a family through a very tough time of our lives and I hold so much gratitude and respect for what they do for young people who have such a heartbreaking experience.

Not a day goes by that I don’t think about my Auntie and the pain our family suffered.

I know my Auntie Judy would be so proud of her three children Morgan, Eleri and Gwen. I hope I am making her proud too.

Any donations received would be hugely appreciated to help support other young children having to cope with such sad circumstance.
