The firm's Social & Sports Committee is delighted to raise awareness and devote fundraising efforts to support Thomas Buxton Primary School.

We are currently raising funds for their Year 6 Residential to Plas y Brenin.

With support from the Mountain Adventure Fund they have the opportunity to take their Year 6 children to an outdoor centre in North Wales from Monday 13th to Friday 17th October 2025. Over the week the children will be rock climbing, abseiling, canoeing, gorge walking, visiting the beach and a forest and working alongside the mountain rescue team.

The trip is an amazing opportunity for their children to take part in and experience activities they will never come across living in London.

With a high percentage of disadvantage in their community it is rare for their children to experience anything like this.

The cost of this trip is approx. £600 per child. With the Mountain Adventure Fund support this is reduced to £140 per child, however for many of their families this is still not realistic and within their budgets so they are fundraising to reduce costs further to ensure any child who wants to go, can.

Any money raised over what is needed for next year's trip will be used to fund/subsidise other school trips.
