Getting to the North Pole is always a challenge but we’ve received new from Camp Barneo that they’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the season. The runway has been completely broken up, due to extreme weather conditions, to the extent that it could not be repaired. Safety is paramount, therefore the entire North Pole season at Camp Barneo has been cancelled, a huge disappointment for all runners, skiers, researchers, and scientists hoping to reach the North Pole in 2024.

I’m extremely disappointed having tried to reach the North Pole for the last 5 years and will continue to do so in the years to come Inshallah. I wanted to also say a huge thank you to everyone who donated money towards the Children of Palestine @medicalaidpal & thank you for all the kind words and support throughout this journey ❤🙏

Despite this setback, I’m now heading to Boston to run my 6th World Major Marathon on Monday,.IA. I will become the first British Muslim Woman to complete all 6 Major Marathons (London, Berlin, Tokyo, Chicago, New York and now Boston) 🏃‍ I will be flying the Palestine flag at Boston and continuing to raise money for the Children that are affected most, please keep the support coming Inshallah ❤🙏

◘ MAP provide immediate medical aid to those in great need, while also developing local capacity and skills to ensure the long-term development of the Palestinian healthcare system.
