Our 'Small Sparks' fund will help people change their life through work, friendships, hobbies or improved independence. The more we get, the more we can give. Every penny will be given back in Small Sparks grants. Nothing will go on admin.

Story

I'm running the Belfast marathon in May to mark my 50th birthday. Dimensions is a organisation that supports adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults to live their best lives. They are also celebrating turning 50, so I’m running to fundraise for their "Small Sparks" fund.

Dimensions is looking to raise £50,000 this year to offer Small Sparks grants to people with learning disabilities and autistic people who are supported by them. Someone might apply for a Small Sparks grant to help find work, create friendship groups, develop hobbies or improve their independence.

The more we raise, the more we can give out – and Dimensions promises that every penny raised will be given back in Small Sparks grants. Nothing will go on administration.

Mark successfully applied for a Small Sparks grant to buy a laptop to help him expand his advocacy and speaking work.

Jordan used his to buy tools to help him become a mechanic.

Denise used hers to buy a new bike to help her become more independent.

And Phil used his to make an important film about equal rights and paid employment.

If you can help transform other people's live, please sponsor me to run the Belfast marathon and every penny will go to Dimensions “Small Sparks” fund. Thank you.
