Riding the Coast to Coast Sportive to help kids with cancer

Coast to Coast 2025 · 14 June 2025 ·
On the 14th June 2025 I will be attempting to ride Coast to Coast in a day in aid of this great charity. The route is 150 miles through Cumbria and Yorkshire with over 10,000ft of climbing - equivalent to climbing Ben Nevis more than 2 times!
CFC are an amazing charity helping children suffering with the most unimaginable disease. The work they do providing bikes and adapted trikes to help recovery, improve mental wellbeing and above all let the kids be kids again and feel some much needed joy is so powerful.
Some more info about CFC:
CFC are celebrating 20 years of helping kids with cancer in 2025 and we are also aiming to reach the huge target of providing our 10,000th bike!
Every year around 2,400 children and young people in the UK are diagnosed with cancer. CFC helps them regain their physical fitness and mental wellness by providing them with new bikes, adapted trikes, and vital support throughout their treatment and recovery.
Exercise and activity have been shown in numerous scientific studies to be the single most effective way of improving outcomes for people surviving cancer. We promote cycling as the best form of exercise for children as it is outdoor, low impact, sociable and fun!
Every penny of your fundraising will be used to get more children living with cancer to get pedalling on their road to recovery so we are hugely grateful for your support.
Thank you!
