Cyclists Fighting Cancer are celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2025 and aiming to deliver their 10,000th bike to a child living with cancer, but can only do this with the help of our amazing fundraisers!
Every year in the UK 2,400 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer. Exercise has been shown in numerous scientific studies to be the single most effective way of improving both physical and mental wellness for people surviving cancer. We recommend cycling for children as it is low impact, outdoors, sociable and fun!
Seven year old Orlando was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2018. The tumour and its treatment have left Orlando with impairments which affect his sight, strength and balance. Mum says;
We wanted to say a huge thank you for Orlando’s trike. It is absolutely amazing and he loves it. It is so nice to be able to do normal things like see him go out for a bike ride with his sisters. Needing to pay for an adaptive bike is one of the costs of being disabled from cancer treatment that often people don’t think about, so cyclists fighting cancer helping with this is just amazing.
All your fundraising and donations will be used to help more children just like Orlando to get pedalling on their road to recovery so we are hugely appreciative of your support.
