CLAPA is the national UK charity supporting people affected by cleft lip and palate. They provide specialist feeding equipment, trusted information, one‑to‑one and online support and youth services, while raising awareness.

Three babies are born with a cleft lip and/or palate every day in the UK. One in 700 babies is born with a cleft - it cannot be predicted or prevented and even now, we do not know what causes it.

It is not just about the treatment, it's the support to tackle the tough questions that come with looking and/or sounding that little bit different from everyone else.

CLAPA receives no NHS or government funding and relies on donations to continue their vital work. Please donate generously and from the heart!
