At the beginning of last Trinity term, the team received the very sad news of the death of one of our freshers, Barnaby, after recently struggling with his mental health. Barnaby was such a kind, gentle and fun person to be around, and he is dearly missed by everyone who had the good fortune to know him. In his memory, eight Ians: Ash, George, Stratmann, Holland, Mainds, Buzz, Michael and Mish, will be running the Oxford Half Marathon on the 11th October to raise money for Thames Valley Air Ambulance. The Air Ambulance was a cause very close to Barnaby’s heart as he had been supporting the charity throughout his childhood, chipping in frequently to help better services for others, indicative of the person he was.
