Hi, I’m Innes and I’m running the Edinburgh Half Marathon 2025 to raise funds for CHV Edinburgh! A charity I joined as a volunteer in the last year and one that I so so believe in.

If you know me, chances are I’ve already spoken to you about Children’s Holiday Venture (CHV), but if on the off chance I haven’t, here is a brief overview of what you should know:

CHV is a student-run charity that’s been supporting children across Edinburgh for over 60 years.

We work with approximately 140 children who have been referred to us by social workers, schools, and GPs. Our mission is to improve the children’s emotional wellbeing, confidence, and social skills through free fortnightly activity evenings, day trips and residential camps.

Our volunteers take the children to activities ranging from trampolining to cooking, and swimming to movie nights!

Any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference. Thank you for reading and thank you for helping CHV continue its life-changing work.
