🏃 CHV Runs for Edinburgh's Children

This May, a team of dedicated volunteers from Edinburgh University Children’s Holiday Venture (CHV) will take on the Edinburgh Marathon Festival 2025 — and we need your support!

We’re running not just for the challenge, but for the children we work with every week across some of Edinburgh’s more disadvantaged areas. Your donation can help us give them something priceless: confidence, friendship, and memories that last a lifetime.

🌟 What Is CHV?

CHV is a student-led charity that supports children from areas like Niddrie, Sighthill, and Pilton. These are kids who might be facing social isolation, financial hardship, bereavement, or extra caring responsibilities at home.

We run fortnightly group nights, fun day trips, and are bringing back our residential camps in 2025 — all completely free for the children we support and their families

💛 Why We're Running

In 2024, rising costs meant we had to pause our residential summer camps — something the children look forward to all year. With your help, we’re bringing them back.

A weekend away with friends, away from daily stress, can be life-changing. Whether it’s toasting marshmallows, playing team games, or just having someone listen — these moments matter.
