This October, co-founders of Irysan Alfonso and Iryna, are stepping well outside our comfort zone.

From 1–4 October, we’ll be taking on the Skoda Titan Desert Almeria - four days of mountain biking, more than 300 km and around 5,000 metres of cumulative climbing.

For every 1m we climb, Irysan will donate £1 to the cause.

We’re doing it to help raise £25,000 for the Raspberry Pi Foundation.

Irysan supports the Foundation because we believe opportunity often begins with the confidence to try something new: writing a first line of code, solving an unfamiliar problem or building something you did not think you could build.

The challenge is very different for us, but the principle is the same.

Progress begins just beyond your comfort zone.

Over the next two months, we'll share the training, the difficult days, the preparation and eventually the race itself. More importantly, we’ll keep connecting the journey back to the young people this campaign is designed to support.

Every kilometre we ride is an opportunity to help someone else take their first step.
