We are a non judgemental charity. We serve 250-300 hot meals a day, 365 days a year. We also provide clothing and bathroom facilities. We are 100% volunteer led & we receive no government funding. We rely on the generosity of the public to be able to support those less fortunate than ourselves.

Story

Hi All,

This year Cecily and I are fundraising for St Chad’s College Charity Fashion Show (SCCCFS). I (Bella) am modelling for the show, and Cecily is charity coordinator on the committee organising the event. Last year SCCCFS raised £15,900 and this year we are aiming to raise a total of £18,000!

In aid of this, we are going to cycle Hadrian’s Wall, starting in Carlisle, passing through Newcastle, and ending in South Shields on the North Coast. This is a distance of 130 km and we are going to cycle it all in one day! We will be completing this challenge on 24th May.

SCCCFS is supporting The People’s Kitchen Newcastle this year, a wonderful charity providing food, clothing and other essential support for people experiencing homelessness and hardship in the Newcastle area. The charity has been a lifeline for those in need since 1985. Moreover, their support surpasses material aid as they also aim to provide companionship and emotional assistance; helping people find stability in the most difficult of circumstances. Run entirely by volunteers, this is an amazing cause to support.

Any donation, big or small, will make a massive difference and help The People’s Kitchen continue their vital work.

Thank you so much for your support!
