This year, SCCCFS is supporting The People’s Kitchen Newcastle, an incredible charity that provides food, clothing, and essential support to people experiencing homelessness and hardship.

The People’s Kitchen has been a lifeline for vulnerable people in Newcastle since 1985, offering hot meals, toiletries, clothing, and even mobile phones to those in need. They also support people as they move into their first home, providing food, furniture, and bedding to help them settle. But more than that, The People’s Kitchen is a constant source of friendship and support, helping people find stability in the most difficult circumstances. Entirely run by volunteers, they serve over 250 meals every day, 365 days a year!
