Story
Isabella and Oliver have taken on the challenge to abseil off Miller's Dale Viaduct to raise money for Support Dogs! This is the highest abseil in Derbyshire and involves a 90 foot drop!
Support Dogs is a charity that is close to both of their hearts as for the past two and a half years they have been volunteer puppy socialisers, they have helped to raise two puppies, a string of holiday cover puppies and most recently have opened their hearts to foster dog Newton while he completes his training.
It's not always easy sharing your lives with puppies! It can be a steep learning curve in remembering to put your things away before they are nibbled and it takes such a lot of bravery to wave goodbye to them when they go on to begin their life changing roles but they know it is such an important thing they are doing and when we ask "shall we do it again?" the answer is always a resounding "YES!" Total superstars.
So they are putting this bravery to good use by abseiling off a 90 foot drop in order to raise money to help this amazing charity continue to provide these wonderful dogs to support children with autism and people with epilepsy and disabilities.
Support Dogs (registered charity number 1088281) is a national charity dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children and adults with various challenging medical conditions. They provide, train and support specialist assistance dogs to achieve this.
