I Will Carry Oakley - 10k Fundraising Walk

Story
On September 28th, I’ll walk 10 kilometers carrying the equivalent of my son Oakley’s body weight on my back.
Why?
Because Oakley can’t walk.
He can’t sit, crawl, or speak.
He lives with Lissencephaly, Microcephaly, Epilepsy, and a long list of challenges that most people will never fully understand.
But what he lacks in ability, he makes up for in fight.
And while we wait, pray, and work for progress… I will carry him.
This walk isn’t just symbolic—it’s necessary.
We’re raising funds for specialist therapies which are not available through the NHS—therapies that offer Oakley a chance at movement, communication, and quality of life.
