Story

Hi all,

On the 14th April, I am running the Manchester Marathon to raise money for PAWS (Pennine Animal Welfare Society)

People who know me well will know that I wanted to find a charity that I could make a small but meaningful difference to. I reached out to my local community page looking for charity ideas and PAWS was mentioned. This was then followed by a message from PAWS asking to be considered and shared that this would help create a new cat and dog rescue centre.

Over the years I have done allot for charity, all of which have been for humans so I thought I would support some animals this time.

Thank you all,

Jack

About the charity

PAWS is dedicated to helping animals in need around the Pennine towns of Todmorden and Hebden Bridge. We operate a no kill policy. We rescue and rehome animals and care for those waiting for a home. We rely on volunteers and donations to fund our work and hold regular fundraising events.
