We raise money and awareness to support all who have a bleeding disorder

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I was diagnosed with moderate Haemophilia A when I was 8. It is a genetic bleeding disorder which reduces the ability of blood to clot. It can cause bruises and bleeding in soft tissues, muscles and joints which sometimes can be spontaneous. I inject medication twice a week to try to prevent bleeds from occurring. For more information please visit: https://haemophilia.org.uk/

I chose to fundraise for the Haemophilia Society as they support many families like my own through life with Haemophilia. For example, I have attended an activity weekend with other children who share my condition.

Running is one of the safer sports that I can do as contact sports carry a high risk of bleeds. As a sporty child, I had to give up playing competitive football and changed my focus to running. I have decided to raise money and awareness by running at least 10km every day during the month of November. I hope you can support me through this challenge whether it's through your donations or encouragement.
