Jack Bolton is raising money for London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine

London to Brighton Cycle Ride 2025 · 14 September 2025 ·

An intrepid team of students, alumni and staff, including our Director Liam Smeeth, have cycled 55 miles to raise funds to provide more life-changing scholarships. Can you help us reach our goal! 🚴

Story

🚴 I'm cycling from London to Brighton! 🏖️

This will be the furthest I've ever cycled in one go — over 50 miles of hills, headwinds and probably a sore backside — all in support of an amazing cause.

I’m raising money for the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, where my wife works. Their research tackles some of the world’s most pressing health challenges, from infectious diseases to climate change and global health equity. Every pound raised goes to scholarships that bring even more brilliant minds to this groundbreaking work that saves lives around the world.

If you’re able to chip in, no matter how small, I’d be hugely grateful. And if you're feeling extra generous, think of it as sponsoring me to survive Ditchling Beacon on two wheels.

Thank you!
