On the 19th of April, I’ll be running the Newport Half Marathon to raise money for the Aneurin Bevan Health Charity.

One of the units supported by the health board is the EPAU, a place that provides vital care to families by monitoring early pregnancy and supporting those facing complications.

Hearing news you never expected is not easy, but the compassion, kindness and support from the doctors, nurses and surgeons helped guide us through one of the hardest moments in our lives.

By raising money for the health board, I hope not only to give something back, but also to raise awareness of this incredible unit, so they can continue supporting families and hopefully help people reach the happy ending they deserve.
