Story
This July, myself and a group of professionally mediocre cyclists are taking on the challenge of cycling from Berlin to London - around 1,000km, in 6 days.
We will cover parts of Germany, The Netherland and then jump on a ferry back to the UK before cycling on to London. There will be many sore bums and tired legs but it's all for an awesome cause - the Institute for Cancer Research.
George, the CEO of this challenge, and whose who’s dad, Mike, sadly passed away from cancer in 2022, has done a great job of putting this challenge together, for a cause so close to his heart!
Any and all donations would be much appreciated and each make the challenge just that bit more rewarding!
What is the ICR?
The ICR is one of the world's most influential cancer research institutes. Their 800-strong body of scientists and clinicians based in laboratories in Chelsea and Sutton are working on a broad spectrum of research, from understanding the underlying biological causes of cancer through to designing and testing the latest cutting-edge therapies.
They couldn’t have come this far without the support of donors and fundraisers, who have helped fund their ground-breaking work.
Thanks!
