Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are Team Grasmere! We are a group of friends who regularly fund raise for our local hospice St Mary's based in Ulverston. This will be our fourth February stepping challenge. Each year in February we join together to commit to walking a minimum of 9,000 steps per day throughout the month. Anyone can join the Team, you don't have to live in Grasmere. We just ask that you make a donation via this page. It can be any amount you feel appropriate. Then grab your walking gear and head out or if the weather is too inclement then simply count your steps around the house and garden. Its amazing how it adds up. Why 9,000 steps? Its because it costs over £9,000 per day to run the hospice. We hope you will join us. Its great fun whilst building your fitness. You can add your name to our leader board and keep track of your progress.
