Ayrshire to Beatson Challenge for Ayrshire Cancer Support · 30 September 2025

Ayrshire Cancer Support have been providing practical and emotional support for people affected by cancer in Ayrshire for over 40 years. Help us continue to provide our essential services at no cost, to the people of Ayrshire.

Story

Iain was supported my ACS during his cancer journey. Help us raise valuable funds in his memory. So that ACS can continue to support the people of Ayrshire. Jack and his mum, Jacqueline will again be taking on this years challenge ! However this years they are going bigger. 180 miles for Jacqueline and 20 miles for Jack. Making a whopping 200 miles in 30 days!

Ayrshire Cancer Support run their Ayrshire to Beatson Challenge every September, encouraging supporters to fundraise by walking, running, cycling or swimming a distance of their choice, to represent the distance Ayrshire Cancer Supports volunteer drivers cover daily taking patients from Ayrshire to the Beatson Hospital.

With current fuel prices, each trip to the Beatson costs our drivers roughy £55*. Cancer patients often need this service multiple times a week for months or even years!

Without our volunteer drivers, many patients would be unable to access the life-saving treatment they need. Your fundraising is essential.

We encourage individuals, families, schools, businesses or anyone to get involved this September for Ayrshire to Beatson month.

Remember, everyone has different abilities, so pick what works best for you!
