Ayrshire Cancer Support run their Ayrshire to Beatson Challenge every September, encouraging supporters to fundraise by walking, running, cycling or swimming a distance of their choice, to represent the distance Ayrshire Cancer Supports volunteer drivers cover daily taking patients from Ayrshire to the Beatson Hospital.

This year, we are delighted to announce that we are kickstarting our Ayrshire to Beatson Challenge with a 5k Family Funday at Dam Park in Ayr! Join us on Sunday 31st August and start racking up those meaningful miles for your month long challenge!

With current fuel prices, each trip to the Beatson costs our drivers roughy £55*. Cancer patients often need this service multiple times a week for months or even years!

Without our volunteer drivers, many patients would be unable to access the life-saving treatment they need. Your fundraising is essential.

We encourage individuals, families, schools, businesses or anyone to get involved this September for Ayrshire to Beatson month.
