Jacqueline's fundraiser for Muscular Dystrophy UK

RideLondon 2024 · 26 May 2024 ·
I am cycling 100 miles in support of Muscular Dystrophy UK at RideLondon-Essex 2024.
My Mum has lived with this condition for much of her adult life, and I've witnessed firsthand the challenges it presents. My Mum has adapted to her physical limitations, but she has not seen them as limitations, she has dealt with them with utter strength and determination. The last year has presented new challenges where Mum is now completely immobile, her strength of character remains. Even though it is hard to communicate with Mum now, I know she will be cheering me on from the comfort of her home on 26th May.
Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity dedicated to supporting the 110,000 children and adults living with muscle-wasting conditions in the UK. With no current cure, these conditions often impose significant limitations on lives.
MDUK funds world-class research into treatments and cures, while also providing vital information, advice, resources, and support for individuals and families affected by these conditions.
Every donation, regardless of size, makes a meaningful impact and is greatly appreciated. Thank you for considering supporting this important cause and getting me over the finish line.
