The challenge:

Known as the London Marathon on wheels, RideLondon-Essex 100 is a unique opportunity to cycle on traffic-free roads, starting and finishing in central London and travelling through 60 miles of beautiful Essex countryside in-between.

The cause:

Muscular Dystrophy UK (MDUK) is the charity for the 110,000 people living with muscle-wasting conditions in the UK. There's no cure, it limits and, in many cases, shortens lives. MDUK funds pioneering research into treatments and cures to improve lives today and transform those of future generations. We offer information, advice and support to help people live well with a muscle-wasting or associated condition. And were driving change to see better care so that people can stay active, independent and connected.
