13 & 18 for SOFT UK

I’m taking part in 13 & 18 for SOFT UK for Trisomy Awareness Month.

Trisomy 13 (Patau syndrome) and Trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome) are rare genetic conditions caused by an extra chromosome. Families affected by these conditions often face uncertainty, complex medical journeys, and in many cases, heartbreak and loss.

SOFT UK is the national charity supporting families affected by Trisomy 13 and Trisomy 18. They provide trusted information, peer support, family connection, and bereavement support — ensuring that no family faces this journey alone.

For this challenge, I’ve chosen to do 13 / 18 in support of children and families affected by Trisomy.
