On Wednesday 16th July, the pupils of St Augustine's School will be taking part in our Playground Pilgrimage Walk — a fun 2km walk/run around our school playground.

This sponsored event is part of a whole-school effort to raise over £1,000 for much-needed new playground equipment and facilities. Every step we take brings us closer to a better and more exciting play space for all our students.

Playground Project

Last summer, our PTA set an ambitious goal: to fund a new playground that benefits the entire school.

The current playground is worn down and it has been slowly taken apart, for children's safety, leaving fewer play options available.

We believe our children deserve better - a safe, fun and engaging space where they can grow, learn, and play. A well designed playground enhances their experience at school and fosters learning outside the classroom.

The chosen playground has been designed by Creative Play (Company No 2926160) and as of May 2024, costs £28,979.00.

The PTA has guaranteed £7,979 and is aiming to raise £21,000.
