As a Paediatric Liver Nurse on Rays of Sunshine Ward I am lucky to work with incredible, brave, and resilient children and their families.

On the 6th of September myself, along with 3 of my colleagues will be participating in a charity abseil to raise money for the Paediatric Liver Family Support Fund. The abseil will take place at Kings College Hospital from the top of the Golden Jubilee Wing building.

This fundraising event directly benefits the families of the patients we care for on our paediatric liver unit. The money we raise from our abseiling adventure will be donated directly to the Paediatric Liver Family Support Fund. This money will help to provide financial support to our incredible families during some of the most difficult periods they experience whilst caring for their child with a liver disease diagnosis.
