Story
I will be joining my colleagues in Price Forbes to take on the National Three Peaks Challenge, climbing the highest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike), and Wales (Snowdon), all (hopefully) within 24 hours this July.
The challenge will be in support of The Noah Jordan Foundation, a charity which funds research, raises awareness, and supports families affected by rare paediatric mitochondrial diseases, devastating, terminal conditions, currently with no treatments or cure.
These diseases stop the body’s cells from producing the energy needed to survive, often causing rapid physical decline, seizures, organ failure, and the heart breaking loss of essential abilities. Tragically, children with these conditions often do not survive beyond childhood.
Whilst I have completed physical challenges for charity before, my fitness has fallen off badly over the last couple of years so this will be a big challenge for me. I will need to put the effort in to get fit and complete it. Any donation or words of encouragement anyone is willing to give to help get me through the challenge would be massively appreciated!
