Story
For the second year running I’ll be taking part in Tŷ Hafan's Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge.
Tŷ Hafan offer comfort, care and support to life-limited children, young people and their families in the hospice, in the community and in their home so they can make the most of the time they have left together.
They allow parents and carers to relax and recharge their batteries. And we make sure the needs of brothers and sisters are never forgotten.
The Welsh 3 Peaks challenge is not for the faint-hearted. Our teams will join travellers from all over the world to cover a distance of more than 20 miles, making a total ascent of 9,397ft (2,864m) to reach the summits of Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen-Y-Fan, all in one day! This will help us raise £1/4 Million for Tŷ Hafan, which is one of the UK’s leading paediatric palliative care charities and offers care to children and support for their families, throughout Wales.
As at the end of 2025 we've raised £140K, so we're well on our way to hitting the £1/4 Million target by the end of March 2028.
