Remembering Brice
Campaign by The Lily Foundation (RCN 1122071)
Brice's life was too short and his family tried to make sure he felt as much love and comfort as possible. More needs to be done to stop this cruel disease breaking hearts and taking beautiful children before their time.

Story

Brice was born in June 2024, a beautiful, strong blue eyed boy. Brice joined his family loved, as a little brother to his big sister Hope, and with many hopes and dreams for a long, thriving life for him.

Brice stopped putting on weight and after a few trips to the GP he was sent to the Paediatric assessment unit in December. Blood tests showed raised lactate and an MRI showed shadows on his brain. Along with regression of skills and weight loss the diagnosis for Mitochondrial disease began.

Brice spent most of the next 3 months and was diagnosed with Leighs syndrome. A few weeks later sadly passed away on March 2025, 5 days shy of being 9 months old.

The space he's left can never be filled and more needs to be done to stop this cruel disease breaking hearts and taking beautiful children before their time.

Please donate if you can to help me help The Lily foundation make a difference in his memory.
