The National Animal Welfare Trust cares for and rehomes over 1300 animals a year, from cats and dogs to smalls and sheep! Active in all the communities it serves, the Trust has 5 rescue centres in the south of the UK, supported entirely by the generosity of the animal-loving public.

Story

On 11 October 2026, I will be taking on the Oxford Half Marathon 2026 in support of the National Animal Welfare Trust. This will be my first half marathon, and I’m proud to be using the challenge to help raise funds for a cause that means a great deal to me.

Having worked with NAWT for nearly two years, I’ve seen how much of a difference the charity makes every day. Its dedicated teams provide care, rehabilitation, and the chance of a new beginning for animals who need support the most. The work is thoughtful, compassionate, and life-changing, giving so many animals the safety and future they deserve.

I’m aiming to raise £750 to help support this important work, and every donation will make a real difference. If you’re able to give, I’d be very grateful for your support. Please consider donating today and helping NAWT continue to give animals the care, comfort, and loving homes they deserve. ❤️🐾
