Story
In August 2025, we thought my wife (Claire Bruce) suffered a stroke with loss of feeling on one side and double vision. Eventually it was diagnosed as relapsing remitting MS - it was many months of uncertainty and unknowns. It still is. She has recovered somewhat and can now run again but is visually impaired when she runs with unpredictable double vision.
Since August 2025 life has been uncertain with so many unknowns what the future holds. Claire is an exceptionally determined woman and a very proactive approach to dealing with MS but still the journey is so uncertain about what is next.
I am raising money for the MS Charity so they can continue to provide support to people with MS so as far as possible people can be helped through their MS journey.
MS-UK was established in 1993, and is a national charity dedicated to empowering people with multiple sclerosis to make the most of today, and live life to the full.
MS-UK put people affected by MS at the heart of the work that they do. They provide high quality, professional services to support people living with multiple sclerosis, and they listen to people affected by MS.
