Story
Brentford Masters Rowing Club was a once if a life time experience and huge success due to the spirit of you, the members. We have now completed the wind up of the club and we have a surplus of c£1500. We cannot return this money to the members but must donate it to a sporting charity. Would you believe it, another once in a life time opportunity has arisen – for a donation of £5,000, we can have a boat bay named after Brentford Masters, within the new Quintin Boat House (which as you know is being constructed by the charity Chiswick Rowing Trust). Brentford Masters can live on for all time! The money donated will go to the fit out of the boat house, so we not only do we directly benefit from this donation, but future rowers will too. With the £1,500 donation plus gift aid we already have £1,875 towards the £5,000 target. Can we raise the remaining £3,125 between us? £50 each, plus gift aid would get us there. We can have a special boat bay naming ceremony at the boat house to celebrate, which will also give us all the opportunity to get back together and remember the good times in Brentford (all wearing BMRC AIOs is optional!).
