Jamesons !! London Marathon 2025 for Tŷ Hafan

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
I am running the London Marathon 2025 for Tŷ Hafan.
Hello my name is James and over past 10 years I have had the privilege to work and know personally some of the most amazing children and families. Witnessing first hand courage, tears, love and laughter, With a special mention to a wonderful young lady Jennesha, who is still defining all the medical odds and this is a testament to her family and the staff at Ty Hafan who provide some much needed respite and care. I have visited Ty Hafan on a number of occasions and every time it has left me emotionally affected. Ty Hafan is a mixture of wonderful joy and tremendous sadness but always filled with memories and smiles. Ty Hafan continues to “support”, this word does not do TY Hafan staff justice not just the support but care, love and emotional understanding that they give to every family is simply inspiring. Next year I am going to be participating in the London marathon!! And raise as much money and awareness of what Ty Hafan has done and continues to do for so many families. I will be pushing my self physically, emotionally and mentally, there will be blood sweat and tears I may struggle but it’s nothing compared to what the families and children go through and that is all the motivation I need!! So I intend to run with the biggest smile on my face and over the next few months I will be posting my training progress and my goals for raising much needed funds for Ty Hafan and the care which is given for all the families.
So please when you see my page, share far and wide, ask all your friends and family to share but most importantly please donate.. I’m not asking for much, a few pounds, any spare change, anything.. but please donate.
At the moment, 90% of families in Wales whose child’s life will be short are not receiving the support they need. Every step I take will help Tŷ Hafan achieve their ambition to make sure that no family in Wales faces their child’s short life on their own.
Thank you for your support!
