100 Hole Golf Challenge · 29 June 2025

Providing life-saving health screenings for adults 18+ on a self-referral basis. We detect early signs of serious illnesses like cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and more. Donor-funded, we ask for a donation based on what you can afford. Prevention is better than cure!

Story

On the 29th June 2025 the 8 of us will be taking part in an endurance challenge where we will play 100 holes of golf consecutively in a single day.

Although this may sound like a bit of a jolly to the non golfers out there, we will be walking a distance in excess of a marathon whilst carrying a heavy bag over some fairly turbulent terrain..

We will start at 4am and will likely finish at some point before sunset (hopefully!!).

Far more importantly however we are aiming to raise as much money as possible for the Mary How Trust.

This charity provides life-saving health screenings for adults on a self-referral basis. They aim to detect early signs of serious illnesses like cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and more.

This is particularly poignant as one of our team members (Jamie Ellis) lost his mother in April of this year at just 63 to something which early detection could well have prevented.

We therefore are committed to raising as much as we can to ensure this charity can continue their great work & prevent cruel illneesses whilest there is enough time.

Thank you,

Jamie E, Henry W, Jamie W-G, Charlie C, Nick P, Jamie D, Matt W & James H
