I’m an O A P member of St Pega’s congregation and am attempting to swim 1006 lengths of a 20m swimming pool during Lent ie between Ash Wednesday and the Saturday prior to Palm Sunday, excluding Sundays. Your support to encourage me in my endeavour would be much appreciated. I’ve had daft swimming ideas before, including swimming in the River Thames and River Nene! In the photo, I’m the dot with the red float! I would love to raise £1006 – which is the age of St Pega’s Church – not the OAP!
